Does vitamin D help you lose weight? The truth

Does vitamin D help you lose weight is a very good question, researchers have noted a connection between Vitamin D and obesity but the exact relationship has not be fully understood until very recently. We are in the middle of an obesity epidemic in much of the United States and in parts of Europe; many are relying on popular diets which have never been scientifically proven to work, this has lead to many to wonder does vitamin D help you lose weight? The answer may surprise you.

A vitamin D crisis

There is an outright worldwide deficiency of Vitamin D world wide according to the American Journal of clinical Nutrition

Vitamin D deficiency is now recognized as a pandemic. The major cause of vitamin D deficiency is the lack of appreciation that sun exposure in moderation is the major source of vitamin D for most humans. Very few foods naturally contain vitamin D, and foods that are fortified with vitamin D are often inadequate to satisfy either a child's or an adult's vitamin D requirement.  With vitamin D deficiency so wide spread many are wondering could this be linked partly to our obesity epidemic, does vitamin D help you lose weight?

What the vitamin can do for your inflammatory body fat

Researchers decided to really put vitamin D to the test in regards to obesity and the finding were interesting.  Elina Hyppönen, an epidemiologist and nutritionist at University College London found that those who are overweight have more of a prevalence to lower levels of vitamin D. What this actually means is that people who were genetically more likely to be overweight were also more apt to have lower levels of vitamin D.   The data suggest that losing weight could potentially reverse vitamin D deficiency in obese people, says Hyppönen. Or, she says, obese people could improve their overall health by having their vitamin D checked and correcting any deficiency.

The message is that obesity can cause the body to have lower levels of vitamin D, the number one source of vitamin D is the Sun. 20 minutes of direct sunlight a day should give you the daily requirements of vitamin D, darker skinned people many need more Vitamin D seeing as they have more natural protection from the Sun.  A daily vitamin D3 supplement of 2000 mg ( or 2 grams) is essential from most people today,  it is crucial to get your Vitamin D so get some sun and get the pills.  Low vitamin D is linked to inflammatory fat, this inflammatory fat is why you are not losing weight.

Need help losing weight? Don’t accept fat as normal

There are many who need help losing weight, but the failure of the commercial diets has caused some to give up their goal of dropping the excessive body fat.  Health officials in England are expressing concern over the fact that many are simply giving up trying to lose weight. Obesity is not a condition that should be view as “normal”; medically speaking being overweight is considered and inflammatory condition.  Many need help losing weight; but it is not easy, it is the dangerous inflammatory fat that is linked to the horrible consequences of being overweight.

England’s Chief Medical Officer Dame Sally Davies has warned in her annual report on the state of the nation’s health that for many people obesity is becoming a normal way of life. It must be stated that obesity is not harmless; it is a condition that wreck havoc on the liver, lungs, and kidneys.  The Medical Officer feels that the “acceptance” of obesity by the clothe manufacturers is a sign that we are not encouraging people to lose the fat.

“I am increasingly concerned that society may be normalizing overweight,” she wrote, citing: “larger mannequins are being introduced into clothes shops; 'size inflation' means that clothes with the same size label have become larger in recent decades; and news stories about overweight often feature pictures of severely obese people, which are unrepresentative of the majority of the overweight population.”

Many are in need of help losing weight; the problem for most people seems to be the reliance on the commercial TV diets that are so overly promoted by Hollywood. These diets are ineffective at causing any real loss of inflammatory fat; unfortunately these name brand diets are all that people are actually familiar with. It is essential to turn to real science for real weight loss.

The commercial diets which are promoted by Actors cause a weak loss of water weight while being ineffective against inflammatory fat. It is essential to do what science does to really lose weight.

How science causes a real loss of fat in those who need to lose weight

When European researchers used a specialized diabetes inspired diet on overweight people without diabetes an amazing thing occurred, the inflammatory body-fat was reversed and all lost significant body weight. Here we see a true loss of real inflammatory fat.

A diet for the obese had better not include this

When seeking a diet for the obese an understanding of why the inflammatory fat is so dangerous is very important, this understanding will help a person on the road to a thinner body. Obesity is an inflammatory condition characterized by an excessive amount of body fat; it is the inflammatory fat that is linked to the dangers of the condition. A diet for the obese must be able to reverse this inflammatory fat but this is exactly what most diets are not capable of doing.

How the food manufacturers contribute to weight gain

Many are under the impression that artificial sweeteners are healthy and contribute to weight loss but this is very far from the truth, a new study shows that splenda which is used by millions of people can contribute to weight gain and even cancer.

According to a study recently published in the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health baking or cooking with Splenda releases carcinogenic dioxins into food.   The papers detail that the heating and cooking process generates chloropropanols, a toxic class of chemicals that could be linked to a higher risk of cancer. The study also discovered that sucralose, the dubious ingredient in the “no calorie sweetener,” reduces the quantity of beneficial bacteria in your digestive tract.

A diet for the obese should not include anything artificial, in fact no one should be ingesting these chemicals.  A reduction in your good gut bacteria can lead to weight gain.

There are no safe artificial sugar substitutes, sugar in excess is not good but there is nothing good about using artificial sweeteners. There are many people who are under the impression that sugar free means healthy and nothing could be further from the truth. Sugar free usually means that they have included a chemical creation sweetener like splenda. It is important to think about all the baked itemed in the supermarket which are labeled “sugar free”, these products are advertised as a safe alternative to sugar and it is clear that this is absolutely not the truth.

When researchers discovered that a specialized diabetic diet was causing a reversal of fat and great weight loss in overweight diabetic they decided to test the diet on overweight people without diabetes. The thinking was that the diabetic styled diet might reverse inflammatory fat in people without diabetes and cause weight loss, they were right, people on the diet lost great body fat in a scientific way. This was the answer for an obese person.

Why did a diabetic styled diet work for people with or without diabetes?

Diabetes is an inflammatory condition and so is obesity, it makes sense that a diet could be created which was styled from a diabetic type diet to stop the inflammatory fat. The diet caused  people  without diabetes to become naturally thin” A diet for the obese must be based on real science.

You can have the body you want, simply do exactly what the researchers did with the diabetic inspired diet to get as thin as you like in a naturally health way.
